For the last 25 years, Blake has worked in Atlanta as an artist, educator, cultural producer, and non-profit executive. Seeking to uplift the culture-makers of our time, Blake's passion is supporting artists and justice workers as they embody their missions and propel change. From 2011-2022 Blake was the Executive and Artistic Director of The Lucky Penny, an arts organization devoted to dance and experimental performance. Today, Blake consults with artists and nonprofits to support them in bringing projects to life and sustaining their work through effective fundraising and management. She is also an amateur author and professional plant lady. Blake holds degrees from Emory University (BA) and The Ohio State University (MFA). Her creative and cultural work have been recognized with awards from Rauschenberg Foundation, Tanne Foundation, Center for Civic Innovation, Emory Center for Creativity & Arts, and more.
