An Artist - Driven Approach To Programming

The BLVD isn't a producing theatre.

We're a creative community with a stage, and everything we program is designed to keep our spaces active, audiences coming back, and the door open for member artists to do their work in front of people who are already showing up. We partner with resident companies and producing partners who bring consistent, high-quality programming to the building. That foot traffic creates the audience base that makes member programming possible.

Resident Companies

Spotlight Conservatory brings year-round theatre education to The BLVD for students and adults alike. Their Company productions take the Mainstage, giving young performers real stage time and young technicians hands-on experience designing lights, building sets, and running the show from behind the scenes. Founded by Michael and Carrie White, Spotlight is a place for artists of every age to learn, grow, and shine.

Ovations Theater brings stand-up, sketch comedy, and theatrical productions to The BLVD, with a lineup that mixes homegrown Atlanta talent and nationally recognized comics. Founded by Kelly Balzli, Ovations is known for honest, story-driven work and a night out that's equal parts laughs and heart. Pull up a chair, grab a drink, and settle in.
